I mailed my I-765 along with cashier's check for $340 on dec, 17 , still waiting for receipt notice. I call customer care number today since its more than 30 days, but they are closed today.
I have USPS confirmation that they have received case on Dec 19.
I will try calling them tomorrow.

dear friends,
I am on H1B. my wife is on H4. I want to apply ITIN no for my wife.
Q1. should i file under "Spouse of U.S. citizen/resident alien" or "Dependent/spouse of a nonresident alien holding a U.S. visa".
Q2. what are the documents I need to submit with the W-7 form.
Q3. is ITIN application only possible during tax return filing or I can apply and get the ITIN number early and then use it during my tax filing.
Q4. How much is the fee for the ITIN no.

Consider filing a complaint with AILF. But do so at your discretion, as relationships are also *VERY* important in these matters. Better not to burn to many bridges.

Receipt notices for 485 ead ap is be receipt date ,,,not COuntry of origin or PD
ur 485 approval will depend on ur PD...and until Oct 2007 all VISAS are unavailable...so atleast till Oct 2007 ur 485 will not be approved...
Read up on the process meanwhile and educate urself

Hi,
I am currently working on a fulltime H1B and my GC process is going on with second stage (I140) in progress. Now my old employer wants me to work parttime for them which I agreed upon but this is a possibility only if I have a parttime H1B applied w.r.t old employer which I am thinking to apply for it and work parttime. But my question here is does this effect my GC processing? If it is what are the effects? Please reply me back. Thanks a lot.

No, It is now ROW, I am from India EB2. But as I said, they didn't make any decision. They still want to review the file and will get back to me in 120 days.

Since your attorney is not filing (No G28 is filed when you DIY). I did this and I got approval for both EAD/AP in a month's time.

As of right now, retailers have no knowledge of this happening. Does not mean it's true or false, just the fact is retailers are not aware. As of the time of this posting.
