I'm looking for a good macro/micro lense and am curious if the Nikon telephoto AF Micro Nikkor 105mm 2.8D is good lense?
Is it worth the $600?
What kind of difference is it going from a 105mm to 200mm if there for close up shots?

Hello

I am a physician who is doing his residency on H1b. My wife has applied for green card with a priority date 4/2004 (employment based category 3). I have applied for my green card with her. Now we are in I 485 stage.

NOw that the way dates are progressing it seems it will take a while for her date to become current for EB3. I was wondering if I apply for green card when I finish my residency, can I recapture the priority date?

I'd appreciate your help. Thank you

PD are attached to either a Labor Certification or a I-140. It has to be your own LC or 140 in order to transfer the PD.

According to new regulations only jobs on Job Zone Five can apply for EB2???

If this is true only 15-1011.00 - Computer and Information Scientists, Research can apply under EB2 category for ITJobs.

AR-11 has to be filed by all non-citizens, that translates to GC holders or permanent residents as well.
You dont have to provide COS for I-140 if all correspondence is going to your employer and you dont have any other pending application

if you want to get h4 extension , you will have to file I539 not 524.

BTW, your h4 extension will be denied, if you are not extending your H1

My cousin has I-20's from Universities A and B.he got F1 Visa with University A's I-20.
He is in India and he wants to go to University B.

Could anybody tell if he can directly go to University B and complete the transfer process from there? or does he need to go to University A, complete the transfer process and then go to University B?

does it create any problems at Port of Entry ?


PS: I have not started GC process yet. So, I didn't update my profile.

I believe you coud've done that before the introduction of the SEVIS system. Now you will have to first report to the university that you got the visa for, and then fill out a new SEVIS form and then change to another university.

Hi,
I am on h4 visa now.It expires in Sep14,2011 .I have a company that wants to sponsor my H1 visa.the start date for the h1 visa would be 1st Oct,2011.
Does this mean that i will be out of status for Sep14-Sep30, will i have to file for my h4 renewal for that period.also,would it affect my new h1 petition.

You can work on H1B visa till you get FINAL approval or denial.

Whats your attorney openion?

I do not have direct contact with the attorney.
My company hr says i can work as per the attorney.

I am wondering will this have any effect on my I-485?

Gurus,

My contract pre-maturly ended on Sep 27, 2008. I was on hourly rate on W2. So far I haven't find any assignment. I don't get paid.
Am I eligible for unemployment benefits. Has anyone claimed this. Are there any future disadvantages if you show unemployment.
