Now that most of the cases that have LUD on their I-140 got or getting approvals, I want to track how many of you guys have an LUD on 07/13/2008. If you have any other LUD on your I-140, please post them.

Change add' online in USCIS website. After few days you will receive confirmation letter. Also send AR-11 for to DHS and confirm with USCIS.
FYI, i saw 2 LUDs on 485 & EAD from the day i changed the address online.
I didn't get second part.
What is DHS?
Which address should I send AR-11 to ?
After all this is done will they resend the returned card or do I have to specifically request for it?

Can one of you guys tell me what is the policy of the OK secretary of state on Drivers licenses for the various legal immigration statuses eg H1b, EAD with approved 140, F1 etc.?

I am live example..
my perm was denied..and we filed MTR which has not gone through yet
then my company filed another perm but for a different position and
description..that got approved..
i extened H1 with MTR but lost my priority date..which does not matter to me
since i am EB2 and Rest of the world...just incase my MTR gets accepted

What about all H1-B, L-1, J-1, K-1....all potential EB immigrant, pick a date and do not spend a dime on that day. That will hurt this economy and get some attention. Please do not tell me that people on H1 and L1 do not make and spend enough money.

Inspite of telling my lawyer she did the mistake of sending my EAD and AP before 120 day period. EAD filed 121 days prior and AP filed 148 days prior. I have gotten the receipts of both but AP status says that they have requested more information/evidence. I am wondering what additional information they need. Anyone else in this situation ?

This is from my attorney:
All your previous I-20s if you were student here, including all the notes made on the I-20s for any change (travel, course related paid work experience, OPT etc.);
EAD card copy for OPT if you had any;
All the visa stamps for reentering the States;
All H1b approvals;
I had some I-20s missing but I was able to contact my University International Student office - fortunately that they have everything on file.
"Proof that person is maintaining valid status in USA since last entry in USA" - not last entry but the first entry. All the documents are to prove your entry is legal and your stay is as legally approved.
It is the last entry not the first entry.
It is since first entry to for the Family based I-485, for Employment based I-485 section 245(k) applies and it requires status since last entry. In fact out of status < 180 days is forgiven under 245(k).
If your attorney does not understand 245(k), may be you should consider getting second opinion.
Section 245(k) applies for ALL employment based I-485s.

Generally just filing an H1 extension is orthogonal to filng I-485. However in your case it looks like your I-94 has expired, so to prove your status your lawyer needs to include a copy of your H1 extension receipt

I want that one strong message to be "Abolish modern form of Slavery" . This is possible and much easier than trying to tell people that we are legal and the bigger group is illegal.

Don't fret about the PERM time lines. It can take anywhere from 1 month to more than 6 months (for Fragomen clients) for PERM approvals/denials. .
Mine is rotting in Atlanta since last Nov.. courtesy Fragomen..

I think its a typo and you should contact USCIS through your lawyer and get this problem corrected to avoid any problems later.

I am working on EAD now, which is valid through 07/06/2012.
I have got a job offer from one of the top fortune 500 company recently. They are offering the job with a role of "Lead Technical Architect".
Following are the details from my labor:
Job Title: Programmer/ Analyst/Systems, Software/Engineer/Developer, or Related to IT
Reponsibility:
develop, create and modify general computer application software. Analysis user needs and design, develop software solutions. Design, develop, analyse and implement software and end user product. Coordinate various account projects with IT consultants; nurture close relationship with the major account customers by providing quality technical support and apply principles of computer science, engineering and mathematical analysis.
From the generic nature of the role resonsibility, I feel that the "Lead technical Architect" role will not be a misfit with the requirement of "Similar resposibility".
Can you kindly let me know if you see any violation of the EAD porting requirement in terms of similar responsibilities?

You need to check SOC codes for both the roles and confirm
In general english an Analyst role is different than an Architect role. In any case, to use AC21 your roles should not be different by more than 50 %
